Inauguration of the ICOE Urban Greening Project

The project was made possible by a $191,000 Urban Greening Grant from the Imperial County Air Pollution Control District through the Assembly Bill 617 Community Emissions Reduction Program. It also represents the first project completed in the area of El Centro, which along with Heber and Calexico form the local corridor that Assembly Bill 617 has targeted with funds for statewide air pollution control initiatives.
