El Centro City Council came together to hold the Council Reorganization. Outgoing Mayor Tomas Oliva was recognized for his accomplishments during his year as Mayor. During the meeting, incoming Mayor Martha Cardenas-Singh was nominated as well as incoming Mayor Pro Tem Sylvia Marroquin. Sonia Carter was also sworn in during this event.
