For a few years, the Government of Mexicali has dedicated resources to rehabilitate the downtown area of the city for its economic and tourist revival that use to have years ago. The area known as La Chinesca is an essential part of the city due to the contribution of the Chinese community to the development of Mexicali since its origins.
As part of the new tourist attractions, The Wok space, a museum dedicated to Chinese food, has already opened its doors. It is free for all visitors and opens from 11 am to 7 pm; here, you can learn about the origins of the traditional Chinese food of Mexicali.
