The Community Spectrum is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to focus on activities that are important to communities. Some of the stories may not always be covered or gain exposure by news outlets but never the less can be critical to communities like yours. Our stories are socially friendly and can be posted to Face Book, Twitter, mobile devices and other social applications as well as easily emailed or linked to other websites.

Our History

The Community Spectrum was born in the Imperial Valley in 2006 as IVNewsday.com. IVNewsday's original vision was to present the Imperial Valley to the world utilizing broadband video on-line. Today our mission has evolved to include other city's and to continue to provide positive video stories to a greater area such as the Coachella Valley on-line and through mobile devices. IVNewsday has played a significant role in the Imperial Valley by providing exposure to many government and private businesses that are striving to move forward and as such, helping their community move forward as well. As the past 5 years have shown, we strive to be positive, factual and objective. Now named the Community Spectrum, our mission is to continue our efforts and reach out to other areas. The Community Spectrum will bring significant Coachella Valley information to the world, on-line utilizing streaming/on-demand video.

Governmental agencies and businesses interested in local operations in the Coachella Valley look to the available labor, land, water, power and the other immense amount of assets.

With mobile and broadband Internet, video from the Coachella Valley can affect decision makers not only in the local community, but also in Sacramento, Washington and throughout the world.
